The things everyone asks
Is the app under our name?
Your clients download the Caldekins app once, then scan your QR code and land straight in your studio — your logo, colours and services, nothing else. Apple's rules no longer allow template apps as separate listings, so one shared app is how every modern platform does it: it also means you're live in days with zero App Store admin.
How do I choose between the two prices?
Pick either, switch monthly. The maths is simple because Stripe's fees are the same on both routes: 2% of £10,000 is £200, so revenue share is cheaper below £10,000 a month in takings and flat is cheaper above it. Revenue share also means you pay next to nothing in a quiet month. Not sure? Start on revenue share and switch when the maths says so.
How much does migration cost?
Nothing. Hands-on migration of your clients, memberships, history and bookings is included — it's the whole point of switching being easy.
What about payment processing fees?
Payments run on Stripe, into your own Stripe account — your money never passes through us. Stripe bills you their standard rate directly, currently around 1.5% + 20p on UK cards, and we add nothing to it. So on revenue share you're paying us 2% and Stripe about 1.5% + 20p; on flat monthly you're paying us £200 and Stripe the same. Two numbers, both visible, no markup hidden inside either. And there's no terminal to rent.
Are we locked into a contract?
No — both options are monthly rolling. If we're not earning our keep, you can leave, and we'll help you export your data.
Is there an Android app?
It's on the roadmap and included either way when it ships. Android clients can book through the web in the meantime.
